Welcome to this week's PREDICT picks, where we break down the most exciting prediction markets available on Duelbits Predict. This is a defining week. The Champions League Round of 16 reaches its dramatic conclusion with eight second-leg ties across Tuesday and Wednesday, Man City must overturn a 3-0 deficit against Real Madrid, Chelsea face a 5-2 mountain against PSG, and Arsenal look to finish the job against Leverkusen. The Federal Reserve delivers its March decision and Jerome Powell holds a critical press conference. Slovenia goes to the polls on Sunday in an election that could reshape European politics. And Oscar night has just passed, setting off a wave of entertainment markets.
The first legs produced absolute carnage. Bayern Munich dismantled Atalanta 6-1, Atlético Madrid thumped Tottenham 5-2, PSG crushed Chelsea 5-2, Real Madrid dominated Man City 3-0, Bodø/Glimt shocked Sporting CP 3-0, while Arsenal drew 1-1 at Leverkusen and Newcastle drew 1-1 with Barcelona. Galatasaray edged Liverpool 1-0 in Istanbul. Now the seeded teams host the return legs, and survival is on the line.

The goal line is set at 13.5 across four matches, roughly 3.4 per game. Given the desperation of Chelsea (down 5-2) and Man City (down 3-0) needing to attack from the first whistle, this could be a high-scoring night.
Market: Tuesday 8pm UTC matches (3 matches) - Goals, Corners, Cards
Arsenal vs Leverkusen is finely poised at 1-1. Arsenal went through the league phase with a perfect record of eight wins, and hosting the second leg gives them a significant edge.
Chelsea face the steepest climb, overturning a three-goal deficit against defending champions PSG at Stamford Bridge. Man City must score at least three without reply against a Real Madrid side that has Kylian Mbappé leading the Champions League scoring charts with 13 goals.
Fixtures: Barcelona vs Newcastle (18:45 CET), Bayern Munich vs Atalanta, Liverpool vs Galatasaray, Tottenham vs Atlético Madrid (all 21:00 CET)
Market: Champions League Specials - Wednesday 18th March (4 matches)

The FOMC meets March 17-18, with Powell's press conference on Wednesday afternoon. This is the first Fed meeting since the Iran conflict escalated, and energy prices are spiking amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, adding a major new variable to the inflation outlook.
This meeting also features the quarterly release of the FOMC's Summary of Economic Projections, or "dot plot", which will reveal where the committee expects rates and inflation to be at year-end. In January, the FOMC voted to hold the federal funds target range steady at 3.50%–3.75%, following three consecutive rate cuts in 2025. Trump has not been subtle in his dislike of Fed Chair Powell, whose term is up on May 15, 2026.

Market: Number of rate cuts in 2026?
J.P. Morgan's strategists anticipate one more rate cut this year, aligning with the "Exactly 1 cut" bracket at 4.33. But the Iran-driven oil shock could force the Fed's hand either way, cutting to support growth or holding to fight inflation. The three-way tie at the top reflects genuine uncertainty.
Sunday's Slovenian parliamentary election is one of Europe's most closely watched political events this year. A Mediana poll conducted in February 2026 shows SDS polling 30.9 percent, compared with 22.4 percent for Golob's Freedom Movement. However, Golob's Freedom Movement gained four percentage points recently, more than halving the SDS lead, according to Bloomberg.
Market: Next Prime Minister of Slovenia
Janša at 1.50 reflects his polling lead, but Slovenia's proportional representation system means coalition arithmetic matters more than raw vote share. The governing coalition (liberal GS, centre-left SD and left-wing Levica) is at a combined 37%, potentially enough to retain power if fragmentation on the right continues.
With the Iran conflict ongoing, the Fed meeting, and the Oscar aftermath, Trump's weekly speech market is packed with possibilities.
Market: What will Trump say this week? (March 16-22)
"Khamenei" at 2.20 is excellent value, with Iran still dominating the news cycle and the conflict ongoing, Trump mentioning the former Supreme Leader he helped kill seems highly probable. "Ceasefire" at 2.00 is also strong given the active diplomatic track. "Claude / Anthropic" at 3.00 is a fun long-shot for AI watchers.
Market: What will Trump say in March?
Still live through month-end:
The Iran conflict has sent oil prices surging. PREDICT has a comprehensive WTI oil market.
Market: How high will WTI oil get by end of year?
With Middle East tensions at their highest in decades, the $130+ bracket at 1.80 looks like strong value.
Israel Strike on Yemen
Market: Israel strike on Yemen by…?
With the broader Middle East conflict escalating following the Iran strikes, Houthi involvement could trigger Israeli action against Yemen.
Market: Harvey Weinstein prison time?
The 20-30 year bracket at 4.00 is the favorite, reflecting expectations of a harsh sentence if convicted.
Market: What will MrBeast say during his next YouTube video?
